Kubota KX161-3 Rubbertrack Excavator
This machine serves well for sewer replacements, septic systems, trenching, landscaping or just about any excavation job. The biggest advantage of the machine is that it causes no damage to sidewalks and asphalt. Although the machine weighs in at about 11600 pounds, it only puts a weight of 4.37 pounds per square inch on the ground. The track hoe has a digging radius of 20 feet and a digging depth of about 13 feet. In addition to this, it comes with a 24” tooth bucket and a 48” bucket with a straight edge along with a blade in the front that’s great for cleaning up. Along with the buckets and blade, it is also equipped with a hydraulic thumb for picking up trees or demolition.
Furthermore, new addition to our fleet was our 2nd high-pressure jetter. Although similar to other jetters, this one comes with a bigger water supply tank, and also allows for water to flow with more pressure and volume. Mounted on a Ford F-750 cab and chassis, it has a capacity of carrying 1500 gallons and also 900 feet of jetter hose. Although this is a sewer jetter unit, there are other things it’s capable of. Also installed on the truck is a hot water boiler that with the flick of a switch can produce hot water for unthawing or for pressure washing of construction, agricultural or any other type of equipment.
